Waiting And Waiting...

We've been under quarantine over a month now.
Like I said in my first blog, I've been extremely bored lately. But sometimes being bored gives you ideas - I was bored when i got the idea for this blog. I've also been programming a lot lately.
I've also been learning Spanish. But the Coronavirus has still been making everyone kind of grumpy (including me). I have a feeling this Covid-19 is going to be a history topic in the future. We've been playing outside to pass some time. Also, about every week we do a zoom meeting with my homeschool group. My Dad made an animated zoom background that makes it look like theres two of him.

I've really been enjoying blogging to also pass time.

Ezra's Perspective

Hello my name is Ezra and I'm 8 years old.
At the beginning of the Coronavirus, there we're so many commercials about the Coronavirus, and everybody was just talking and talking about it, and not really talking about anything else. At least we're doing some things fun:

This is Canaan trying to give me bunny ears.
Also Dad has been buying some games and he bought a bird game.

Overall, this Coronavirus has been pretty boring, but we found some ways to get around.

Easter Under Quarantine

EASTER

Easter was pretty much the same as normal - almost.
We had two easter egg hunts - one inside and one outside.
We went downstairs and looked for eggs, then we looked for our Easter baskets.

In my Easter Basket I got a 3D pen! A 3d pen is what it sounds like - it draws in 3D.

My Nana and Pops came over and we talked through the fence. It feels kind of weird trying to stay 6 feet away from everyone. We also got to let out our baby chicks for the first time.

They're so cute!! In the top right corner of the picture you can see our chicken coop. It's helpful having a nearly endless supply of eggs with Covid-19 happening.

Coronavirus Introduction

My name is Canaan, and I'm 10 years old.
Last time I did a blog we were in China. Now we're under quarantine.

When we weren't under quarantine yet, I went to something called CIY Superstart and while we were there one of the kids there mentioned Covid-19.  I still didn't really know what this Covid-19 was until the quarantine started. At the beginning, I was able to do one more private baseball batting lesson. But after that we had to stay home until it was over. The coronavirus is starting to remind me of the great depression a little bit because the stock market is crashing. I've been very bored lately, although we've been finding some ways to have fun...
That's me with my younger brother Ezra when we had a bonfire.
We've also been spotting many birds.
We've seen bluejays, cowbirds, sparrows, wrens, cardinals, and woodpeckers.
I've also been doing online classes.
Even though we've found ways to have fun, I've still been feeling kind of bored.
